PHS Wastemanagement is proud to be a sponsor of the International Healthcare Waste Symposium this autumn.

The event, which takes place at the Royal College of Physicians in London on 24-25th September 2009 is designed to offer NHS and healthcare professionals from around the world the opportunity to share best practice regarding the management of healthcare waste and public health.

Entitled ‘Improving knowledge: sharing experiences’, the sessions will focus on the increasing challenges facing professionals involved in healthcare waste management. Organised jointly by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and the Healthcare Waste & Resources Research Group (HCWRR), the two-day event will also provide networking opportunities for individuals working in the field.
