Licensed Provider

As a regulated Waste Management License holder and operator of a network of Waste Transfer Stations, PHS ensures that our Station Managers are trained to a high standard. As a minimum, each Waste Transfer Station Manager will be trained to NVQ Level 4 in Waste Management, hold the WAMITAB qualification (The Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board), IOSH (Institute of Safety & Health) certificates and also hold the Certificate of Technical Competency. We also have a network of in-house Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors and COTC holders who ensure that all our services operate safely and in strict accordance with legislation and Best Practice Guidelines

Due to the sensitive nature of waste being collected, all PHS Wastemanagement service personnel carry identification cards. Additionally PHS also takes its responsibilities to our customers very seriously, and all staff who visit customer sites or have direct contact with confidential company information, are CRB checked. Staff must always be smartly dressed in a PHS uniform, and protective clothing, as specified by our in-house Health, Safety and Environmental team.

Copies of our licences are available upon request, either call us on 02920 809090 or click here
